Thursday January 21 started out as every other day...
I told Levi he really didn't need to go to work today...and as on every other day he said, "Yes, I really do, Emily." And he went.
Levi got to the school just in time to turn around because I was having contractions every 15 minutes.
We got to the doctor's office about an hour later, and the doctor found that I was dilated to a 6. He said "Go straight to the hospital. Don't make any stops, just go check into Labor and Delivery."
And that's what we did.
And 6 1/2 hours later...
The labor and delivery went fast and without complication. Andrew is 7lbs and 20 inches. And cute as a button
As you can see...
Thank you to everyone who has supported and helped us. We really appreciate it all.
Yay! He is beautiful! I'm so very happy for you and glad Rachel sent me the link to your blog so I can see him. Would you mind sending me your address so I can officially welcome hime to the world?
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all three of you!
YAY for Andrew! He really is cute. And YAY for a blog! I'm excited to be able to follow all three of you guys on here now.
ReplyDeleteWhat a CUTE baby! Congratulations to you guys! Abe and I are so happy for you. Glad to hear the labor went well too. Abe is out in the field until next week but when he gets back I'll be sure to show him the pictures and have him call you. Enjoy your darling baby!
ReplyDeleteHey Levily,
ReplyDeleteSeeing your blog name made me have a FOND remembrance of Rayli the Fish. What a fish. I wonder if the DeFords are keeping him alive. I've heard he had a name change though (shark).
Anyway, my favorite part of this blog was "I told Levi he really didn't need to go to work today...and as on every other day he said, 'Yes, I really do, Emily.'" I think I can picture the tone in which you said it Levi... with a smirk. Welcome Andrew, you are VERY cute. I especially like your GIANT "Little Monkey" slippers.
I also liked the picture of your life in the 70's.
Levi, you make for a handsome teacher in your blue shirt and red tie.
Emily, you were a very petite pregnant lady. Maybe you were tricking us and just put a tennisball under your shirt (wink).
Congrats to you all. Andrew, you're one lucky kid. You got some awesome parents.
Cali
How exciting. Congratulations. Where are you so luckily living in the seventies? Am I understanding correctly that it might be Virginia? Lucky dogs.
ReplyDeleteCute, cute, cute baby. More pictures please.
Levi and Emily and Andrew,
ReplyDeleteCongrats on everything. Especially to Andrew. I'm sure it was quite an ordeal for him. I tried calling a couple weeks ago, but I'm sure you were busy. Call me when you get a chance.
So...I love the pics and I'm still really really excited for you. AND...I'm ready for more pics! I check ALL the time and they're never there for me to see! :)
