The House II

Hello all, and welcome back to the chronicalization of the building of our house!

We apologize for the long interval but the internet has been slower than our patience.

Come with us and see ...

This is the livingroom. But also gives you a good idea of what is around the house-there is about 40 feet worth of trees, holly, and other scrub.

This is the back of the house. I mainly got this picture to show my students.

Standing in the mud room looking at the kitchen. (I just walked in the back door).
They assured us they'd move the two-by-four in the middle.

In the master bedroom, looking at the rest of the house. (The kitchen is on your left, and the front door is on the right.)

In the rafters (turn head sideways and stand on a board for full effect).
Sorry there isn't more, Andy is pulling books off the shelves (we're at the library) and Emily has had enough of that today. More to come!!

  1. It looks a little drafty, but definitely full of potential. Make sure Greggory puts in a bazillion electrical outlets-- there are never enough. Wish I could help you paint and move. I love painting. Not so much on the moving.

And Andy looks like his cheeks are filling out???

  2. Actually, if Andy's cheeks are filling out this would be consistent with the crawling phase where he can find GOOD STUFF to eat all by himself!

  3. I had a math teacher who worked construction in the summer and always used practical examples on us in math class.
House looks like it is coming right along.
Sorry about the internet. That is frustrating!
