Part 3 with the Fourth of July

Well, finally here is that last part of our trip. I (Emily) am not totally to blame for the late-ness of this post. I actually put the pictures on the draft a couple weeks ago, and it has since been sitting here, waiting for Levi to narrate is (since he is the witty one of the two of us). But the deadline has come and gone, so you will have to deal with a witty-joke-less post.

We got to spend a little over a week with the Jaynes grandparents. Addie just loved this bench, just her size.

Levi's parents had the opportunity to get the city park's playground equipment for no cost. They attached the new playground equipment, with the old, homemade one. What fun.
Water slide
Water-less slide...has the benefit that you can climb up the slide, rather than have to go all the way around. These three spent over an hour doing this.

Emily and Addie

Owen spent a lot of time with Grandma, to the enjoyment of both parties.

Movie time with popcorn, almost all the cousins on one couch.

Flying airplanes

Isn't it amazing how fun those things can be, despite the fact that they never go where you intend?

Addie didn't usually participate in group activities, so had to give proof that she, too enjoyed herself.

Water balloon sling shot. Grandma would stand in the yard and try to catch them. What's more fun than slinging water balloons at Grandma?

We spent the Fourth of July there as well...

Notice Levi's sparkler has two "burning" spots. He was pretty proud of that.

Watching Fireworks

We left 4 am the next morning. Crazy? I know. Sad to leave, good to be home in VA.
There were several more adventures during the course of the summer (okay, only really a couple). And, for the official record, the pictures are already uploaded onto drafts, waiting for Levi's witticisms. And it would be silly to post them now...we've got to keep you coming back somehow! Stay tuned....

  1. Emily, I love it when you guys post. And for the record, sometimes we have a guessing game as to who wrote, you or Levi.

    Your kids are absolutely darling.
